In this example the pickup is mechanically set at 30° BTDC.
Advance can be adjusted between 30° to 0°
but if you want a maximum advance of 40°.
there are 2 solutions:
- To move physically the pickup to 40°
- To wait for quite a rotation and produce a spark at 40° BTDC
Precisely the microprocessor must wait during: 30° + 360° -
40° = 350°
